HB BODY C493 Matt Clear Coat is a high-quality 2K polyurethane clearcoat designed to deliver a smooth, uniform matt finish for automotive refinishing and custom styling. Perfect for full-body resprays or selective matte styling on hoods, roofs, and trim, it provides a modern, flat appearance while ensuring long-lasting protection.
Formulated for professional use, C493 Matt Clear offers excellent surface levelling, outstanding chemical and weather resistance, and seamless application over basecoats. It’s ideal for both repairs and complete custom paint jobs where a subtle, non-reflective finish is desired.

MIXING RATIO:
- 2:1 with HB BODY hardeners (H754 FAST, H753 NORMAL, or H752 SLOW).
- Optional 10% thinner on second coat.
DRYING TIMES AT 74°F (60°C)
- Air Dry: 16-24 hours at 74°F (60°C).
- Force Dry: 30 minutes at 140°F (60°C) panel temperature.
- Infrared Dry: Not recommended.
- Flash-Off Time: Until matt
